Angie creates a warm, supportive space where clients feel safe sharing challenges and successes. Her experiences with hardship and growth fuel her passion for helping others feel heard, understood, and empowered.
Specializing in counseling adults (18+), Angie works with individuals facing anxiety, grief, trauma, codependency, communication difficulties, and major life challenges—including divorce, blended families, parenting changes, identity concerns, and hormonal shifts. She collaborates closely with clients to create individualized treatment plans that align with their personal goals and foster lasting change.
Angie has completed Level 1 training in Internal Family Systems (IFS) through the IFS Institute. She is fully trained in EMDR and is pursuing certification in EMDR 2.0, an updated approach designed to help the brain process distressing experiences more efficiently. Her training also includes the Flash Technique and trauma-focused CBT.
In addition to standard 50-minute sessions, Angie offers EMDR intensives. These extended sessions provide an accelerated path toward healing, allowing clients to stay engaged in the therapeutic process without feeling rushed. This creates momentum and space for deeper work and meaningful progress.
Angie earned her master's degree in clinical mental health counseling from Liberty University and remains committed to ongoing professional growth through advanced training and consultation.
Outside of the office, Angie enjoys exploring beach towns with her husband, spending time with her adult children and grandchildren, and reading alongside her cat, Lottie.
