Summary

Ann-Marie Catron, MA, APC, works with adults and couples who feel overwhelmed, emotionally weighed down, or caught in ways of responding that are difficult to change. The clients she supports are typically navigating relationship and communication challenges, anxiety and stress, grief and loss, life transitions, and the ways painful past experiences can continue to shape how they see themselves and relate to others.

Ann-Marie helps clients slow down and better understand what they are feeling, how they react, and what may be driving those reactions. She draws from Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT) and EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) tapping and is certified in Prepare/Enrich for couples. She also incorporates temperaments to help clients better understand themselves and the people in their lives.

For clients who desire it, Ann-Marie welcomes the integration of Christian faith into counseling and provides space to explore how faith intersects with what they are experiencing. She earned a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from the University of the Cumberlands and is an Associate Professional Counselor in Georgia. She practices at Path to Change in Cumming.
