Anna Gould works with individual adults, couples, and families. She approaches each client with
curiosity and compassion and seeks to understand each person’s story through their unique
cultural, spiritual, and familial lens.
Anna helps clients explore thoughts, beliefs, relational patterns, and coping strategies that may
hinder a more fulfilling life. She has a strong calling to work with Adult Children of Alcoholics
and Dysfunctional Families (ACA), and those affected by substance abuse, generational trauma,
and adverse childhood experiences.
Anna supports couples seeking pre-engagement, pre-marital, and marital counseling. Whether
clients are seeking to strengthen a healthy marriage with regular couple check-ups– or seeking
guidance after loss or betrayal– Anna understands the power of relationships– as it is within
relationships that we encounter both our deepest wounds and our greatest healing.
Anna works with women in all stages of life, with a special focus on mid-life transitions. She
helps women process the physical, emotional, physiological, and relational challenges of this
unique season and supports them in regaining clarity, confidence, and connection.
Anna uses evidence-based methods, including Prepare/Enrich and the Gottman Method for
couples. She is a Gottman Level 1 trained clinician, a member of the Gottman Relationship
Check-Up Network, and a certified Prepare/Enrich facilitator.
Her work with individuals integrates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy(ACT), EMDR,
Attachment-Based Therapy, Inner Child Healing/Reparenting, and other trauma-informed
approaches.
Anna is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia and a National Certified Counselor
through the NBCC. She holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from
Richmont Graduate University with additional certifications in Addictions Counseling and
Marriage and Family Therapy.
Anna has lived in the Kennesaw area for almost 30 years. Outside of her work with clients, Anna
enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, hiking, and listening to a wide variety of
music and podcasts. She loves her church family and has the privilege of working closely with
(and learning from) middle and high school students each week.
