Antonio was born in Mishawaka, Indiana, and grew up in Costa Rica. He moved back to the United States for his undergraduate studies at the University of Southern Indiana and Franklin College, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree and became a four-year NCAA college athlete playing for the men’s soccer team.
