With these words from Brené Brown in mind, Chelsey works to create an open, caring, and safe space where clients can explore their life story and the challenges that they are facing. She specializes in clinical issues, including addictions, eating disorders, bullying, health concerns, anxiety, and depression. She has experience working with clients ranging from late adolescence to late adulthood. Additionally, she conducts substance and family violence evaluations.
Chelsey attended Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, GA, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in sociology with a concentration in interpersonal counseling. Following her undergraduate degree, she obtained a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling from Mercer University.
As a former collegiate tennis player, Chelsey understands the demands that athletes undergo. She enjoys supporting middle school through college level athletes in their journey. Therapeutically, her goal is to walk alongside clients in their difficult times and enable them to feel a sense of hope.
