Erin (Pridgen) Nicolas, M.S. is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Play Therapist Supervisor. Her interests include working with children and their parents. Her areas of specialty include working with children struggling with anxiety, depression, learning disabilities, divorce, grief, behavioral issues, and self-esteem.

As a play therapist, Erin makes use of both directive and non-directive approaches with her child-clients based on their individual needs. She utilizes the creative and playful nature of children to enhance their resiliency and coping abilities with whatever struggles they may face in a welcoming and supportive environment. She is also extremely passionate about working with parents on strengthening the parent-child relationship and developing sound parenting skills. When parents are involved in the therapy, children can experience more growth.
