Summary

Eyrika believes in a holistic approach to healing. She spent 10 years as a pediatric nurse in a hospital setting, is a certified Dr. Sears L.E.A.N. coach, and specializes in holistic allergy elimination. She became a counselor to complete her training in healing through the mind, body, and soul. Eyrika is trained in treating complex trauma in children and adults and is honored to be a part of each client’s journey toward wholeness. She is culturally sensitive and enjoys working with a diverse population. Eyrika’s person-centered or child-centered approach offers empathy, unconditional acceptance, and walking alongside her clients to discover the strength and resilience that lies within them.
Eyrika earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing at the University of Cincinnati and a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling at Colorado Christian University. She has obtained certificates in trauma counseling, Gottman levels 1 and 2 marriage counseling, Dr. Sears L.E.A.N. Nutritional Counseling, and NAET (holistic allergy elimination). She is working toward certification to become a registered play therapist and is under clinical supervision with Trudy Post Sprunk.
Eyrika’s passion for healing and empowering people has led her to work with a variety of populations, including foster-care children and foster parents and survivors of human trafficking. She is a wife, mother, beach lover, and yogi. Eyrika loves a good story, whether fictional or the stories of peoples’ lives.
