Heather is a licensed associate professional counselor (LAPC) in the state of Georgia. Her specialties include couples counseling through an Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy lens, counseling addicted individuals in recovery (substance-related) and their loved ones, and integrating Christian spirituality and faith for those clients who are seeking a faith perspective. On top of these specialties, Heather is glad to work with individual adult men, women, or teens wherever they find themselves in life—trying to maintain well-being in a hard season or needing assistance during a major life change. Heather is a National Certified Counselor (NCC) as recognized by the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC) and trained for in-person and telehealth client sessions, utilizing trauma-informed care. She has experience working in private practice and outpatient centers as well as residential and PHP/IOP level addiction treatment. Heather sees clients through an attachment-based, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and person-centered lens.
