Hi everyone! My name is Lauren Wallace and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Play Therapist Supervisor. I specialize in working with children who struggle with anxiety and divorce recovery. Graduating from North Georgia College & State University (now University of North Georgia) with my undergraduate degree in Sociology, I loved the school and Dahlonega so much that I attained my Master’s degree in Community Counseling shortly thereafter. I have been a lifelong resident of Georgia, have been an active therapist in the state for 8 years, and an active supervisor for the last year and a half. I especially love working with children and discovering new ways to connect with each child’s needs. To best serve everyone’s fast paced lives and limited schedule, I mix a relaxed, accommodating therapy style with efficiently working through problems with a high quality of care. I work primarily within the Adlerian Play Therapy model as well as Child Centered Play Therapy. I am a nationally certified Registered Play Therapist Supervisor and Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor in the state of Georgia. I greatly enjoy providing play therapy supervision for new therapists working with children and adolescents. I am a member of the Association for Play Therapy and the Licensed Professional Counselor Association of Georgia. I passionately enjoy working with children and helping them achieve their best selves!
