Summary

Jonathan  is deeply passionate about walking with individuals through the complexity of life—the seasons of joy and fulfillment, as well as the seasons of pain and uncertainty. He believes that every person is created with inherent dignity, value, and purpose, and that healing often begins when we rediscover meaning in the midst of struggle. Jonathan considers it an honor to walk alongside clients as they navigate life’s challenges and seek restoration. His counseling approach is relational, compassionate, and grounded in the belief that change is possible for everyone. He works with adolescents and adults who are experiencing depression, bipolar disorder, high stress, relational difficulties, spiritual concerns, or major life transitions. When desired, Jonathan thoughtfully integrates Christian faith into the counseling process. Jonathan is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)—an evidence-based method for addressing trauma and distressing experiences. He views EMDR as a powerful tool that complements the deeper work of meaning-making, allowing clients to move beyond painful memories and begin living more freely in the present. Jonathan earned a master of arts in biblical counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary and a bachelor of arts in psychology from Biola University. He is a licensed professional counselor in Georgia. Over the course of his career, he has worked with individuals, groups, and families across inpatient hospital programs, outpatient settings, and private practice.
