Karen desires to create a safe, compassionate environment where clients can explore difficulties knowing they will be cared for and heard. She considers it an honor to walk alongside individuals and couples to help them navigate life's challenges and restore a sense of hope. With specialized training in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) and sex therapy, her passion is to help clients work through anxiety, depression, trauma, intimacy, sexual concerns, and sexual traumas. Karen is PREPARE/ENRICH certified and enjoys working with couples considering marriage.

Karen is a licensed associate professional counselor (LAPC), a licensed associate marriage and family therapist (LAMFT), and an associate member of the American Board of Christian Sex Therapists. Her undergraduate degree is from Wheaton College, and her master’s degree in marriage and family therapy with a certificate in Christian sex counseling is from Richmont Graduate University. Karen works under the direction and supervision of Linda Merrion and Vickie George.
