Summary

Kate strives to help individuals, couples, and families find hope and healing through the therapeutic process. Kate earned a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling with a Certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy from Richmont Graduate University. She is currently under the supervision of Heather Cobb.
Kate brings several different approaches to her counseling, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Attachment Theory, and Family Systems Theory. Kate's Christian faith plays a large role in her life and her therapeutic process; however, she loves working with people of all faith backgrounds.
Prior to counseling, Kate worked in student ministry and various nonprofit settings serving poor and marginalized populations. When Kate is not counseling, she is trying new restaurants in Atlanta with her husband, practicing yoga, or cooking. She has two stepchildren—and a cat that she adores.
