Katherine is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) located adjacent to Johns Creek Emory Hospital. She has worked with adults, adolescents, and couples for over 18 years.

A graduate of East Carolina University and the College of Graduate and Professional Studies at the Citadel in Charleston, SC, Katherine and her family moved to the Atlanta area in 2012. Shortly thereafter, she was involved with the C.S. Lewis Institute and later served as a mentor to new fellows.

Early in her career, she worked at a Child Advocacy Center providing forensic assessments to children at risk for abuse. She continues to use her experience in trauma work to serve others who struggle with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), developmental trauma, and grief. She is trained in trauma focused cognitive therapy (TF-CBT) as well as eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). Katherine’s areas of expertise include anxiety, transitions, couples work, codependence, and more. She especially loves to walk alongside mothers who are attempting to balance life, marriage, and parenting issues.
