Kathy believes people are unique, complex, and deeply impacted by their early relationships and experiences. Therefore, she desires to connect and journey with people as they pursue healing and wholeness in their lives through processing their past and coming to understand how it shows up in the present. 

 Kathy works from a strong attachment mindset and views the world through a trauma-informed lens. She primarily utilizes relational psychodynamic and attachment theories. Kathy has experience working with individuals across the lifespan, specializing in trauma, relationships, and self-esteem.

To honor the uniqueness of each client, Kathy often employs other theories to meet specific needs. She is EMDR certified and utilizes aspects of polyvagal theory, ACT, and CBT. 

In her spare time, Kathy enjoys spending time with her husband of 20 years and their four children at the beach or watching one of their children's sporting events.
