Summary

Kiki is devoted to treating every client with kindness and compassion. Her goal is to provide a warm, caring, and nonjudgmental environment so you can feel free to move toward healing and wholeness. She works with clients who experience anxiety, depression, trauma, neurodiversity (ADHD, Autism), relational distress, addiction, premarital and marital concerns, codependency, grief, self-esteem, identity, and more.
She believes one of the most important, difficult things a person can do in their life is to heal and grow. The process of growing is often just as painful and confusing as it is beautiful; that is why having someone with a flashlight and a map to walk through that journey with you is invaluable. Kiki would be honored to journey alongside you in growth and healing.
Kiki loves working with couples to help them overcome the obstacles that prevent connection and unity. This includes repairing past hurt, establishing healthy boundaries with each other and with family, learning effective communication skills, overcoming individual and joint trauma, and more. At Waystone, she also collaborates with other therapists to support the whole family system in family therapy. She is passionate about helping families create an environment where each person is safe, seen, soothed, and secure. When families can move toward each other in this way, it activates the natural healing that exists within healthy familial connections.
Kiki's therapeutic approach incorporates Internal Family Systems (IFS), also referred to as “Parts work”. Because she was trained through the IFS Institute, she is also equipped to help clients “unburden” their parts, which leads to powerful healing and freedom. Her approach to therapy is very person-centered and attachment-based, also combining elements of Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT), Family Systems, and Brainspotting (a mind-body approach for processing deep emotions).
She is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) under supervision with Lauren Dack. Her Master’s degree is in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a certification in Marriage and Family Therapy. Outside of her degree, Kiki is trained in IFS (Level 1), Brainspotting (Phase I, Phase II, and advanced BSP with Parts), and EFT. She is also certified in PREPARE/ENRICH for premarital couples. For individual therapy, she works with adolescents and adults ages 16+. For family therapy, she works with adolescents and adults ages 14+. Outside of work, Kiki enjoys going to fan conventions, teaching aerial silks, and reading anything and everything by Brandon Sanderson.
