Summary

Mary Hathaway is a licensed master social worker and counselor. Through her work with families involved in foster care and single parents facing poverty, she knows that our lives are full of unexpected changes, difficult transitions, and devastating loss. However, she believes that amid transitions, we have an opportunity to heal, become more ourselves, and make decisions about our values and identities that can guide us into the future. She is passionate about offering support and evidence-based strategies to treat symptoms of anxiety and depression as individuals experience drastic life transitions, whether beginning college, navigating post-grad life, losing or gaining a job, grieving a difficult loss, or adjusting to the incredible changes of pregnancy and postpartum. If you’re feeling overwhelmed and anxious with all that is coming at you, Mary would love to be a part of your support team as you navigate changes, deal with past wounds, and figure out what you value for the future.
