Summary

Melissa is a mental health therapist specializing in anxiety, depression, life transitions, and trauma. Before becoming a therapist, Melissa spent nearly 20 years as a holistic practitioner in the field of complementary and alternative medicine. She brings that experience into her therapy practice. She integrates the fundamental principles of traditional psychotherapy with holistic approaches to promote healing on all levels: emotional, physical, mental and spiritual. Melissa is a client-centered therapist who sees every single client as unique and she does not believe in a one-approach-fits-all model. Recognizing the link between physical disease and emotional dis-ease means that therapy is more than an opportunity to talk about your problems; it can restore your overall health and increase your life span. Melissa's practice is "inclusive". She upholds and adheres to the code of ethics that govern her field. She promotes the values of social justice and is dedicated to working inclusively with people whose backgrounds, lifestyles, life stages, belief systems, identities and cultures might be different from her own. She provides services to people of all races, ethnicities, immigration statuses, religions, genders, sexual orientations, abilities, incomes, relationship statuses, sizes, and philosophies. Melissa is an empath and people person! She is passionate about humans and their unique expression in this world.  Your peace and well-being is her priority.

Currently, Melissa is seeing clients virtually only.
