Nicole is passionate about partnering with adults, adolescents, and couples in achieving their personal goals and on their journey toward healing in an emotionally safe and accepting environment. She works in areas including substance use, personal identity, spirituality, adult autism, anxiety, depression, adult ADD and ADHD, childhood trauma, chronic pain, grief and loss, social anxiety, relationship difficulties and conflict, difficulties with communication and assertiveness, and blended family dynamics. Nicole teaches skills for communication and conflict resolution and, while incorporating empathy and compassion, utilizes various interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
Nicole is an associate professional counselor who earned a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Richmont Graduate University. She earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Auburn University. She has worked in long-term residential treatment for substance use disorder and in private practice. She is under the supervision of Heather Cobb, LPC, CPCS.
