Hi, I’m Rachel. I’ve been a licensed professional counselor since 2008, but more than that, I’m someone who genuinely cares about walking with people through some of the hardest, messiest, and most meaningful seasons of life. I work with men, women, and couples who are navigating things like anxiety, marriage struggles, separation or divorce, stepfamily dynamics, boundary setting, co-parenting, self-worth, and major life transitions. If it feels heavy or overwhelming, you don’t have to carry it alone.
I earned my master’s in professional counseling from Georgia State in 2005, but my real education has come from sitting across from people who are just trying to find peace, clarity, and hope—and from living it myself.
I also offer virtual counseling through the Counseling Compact, allowing me to work with clients in Georgia, Arkansas, Arizona, Indiana, Louisiana, Minnesota, and Ohio. If you've relocated or live in one of these states, we can continue working together through secure virtual sessions.
On the personal side, I’m a mom of two teenagers and live in Forsyth County. After 13 years of marriage, I went through a painful and heartbreaking divorce. That season tested me deeply, but it also became a time when my faith in God grew stronger. His grace carried me through and still does. I’m now remarried, and while life isn’t perfect, I know the beauty of healing and new beginnings.
