Summary

Do you sometimes feel like no matter how much you try to make things better, there’s just no breaking free from the negative cycles your relationship seems stuck in?
Rachel's passion is working with couples across a variety of stages in their relationship, particularly couples who are dating, engaged, newly married, or transitioning into parenthood. Couples in these stages may struggle with communication issues, life transitions, complex family dynamics, trauma, betrayal, or infidelity. Together, you and Rachel will work to understand where each partner is coming from and collaborate on a plan to establish a more unified dynamic within your relationship.
Rachel also sees high schoolers, college students, or young adults (Gen-Z and millennials) experiencing difficult life transitions, relationship issues, loneliness, issues of faith or spirituality, complicated family dynamics, etc.
Rachel believes that therapy should not only provide a space to talk about what’s on your mind, but it should also be a place where you receive unbiased support, direct feedback when appropriate, and helpful resources. Rachel is committed to being a lifelong learner, so she is always on the lookout for books, articles, or podcasts that may be helpful to your unique situation. Additionally, because she understands how spiritual and religious beliefs can shape our lives in vitally important ways, she specializes in integrating this element of clients’ lives into the counseling relationship if they wish. Rachel gladly welcome clients from all spiritual, racial, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds.
