Terrace earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Michigan State University. She has provided service to those in foster care, substance abuse treatment programs, homeless shelters, residential facilities, and juvenile offenders through individual and group therapy. In addition, Terrace worked with students in special education creating programs, providing service, and educating others to aid those with emotional behavior disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, conduct disorder, dual diagnosis, autism spectrum disorder, anxiety, and ADHD. Terrace has assisted youth in changing their trajectory through the development and implementation of programs that utilize the support of caregivers and school staff to nurture the whole child. As a School Social Worker, she has developed curriculums and programs to teach social skills; train staff on best practices for effective classroom management strategies; develop resources and support for parents and caregivers; in addition to creating and facilitating trauma-informed care and social-emotional learning strategies.
