Dr. Snyder is a Georgia Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Professional Counselor, American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (AAMFT) Approved Supervisor, Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor (4422), Certified Sex Therapist, Certified Master Traumatologist, Certified Sex Addiction Therapist, and a Green Cross Certified Trainer. 
She founded Resilience Source, LLC, a counseling collective in Roswell, Georgia. Resilience Source exists to counsel, consult, and train in the areas of acute and complex trauma, sexual issues, marriage and families in crisis, addiction, trauma-informed care, compassion fatigue, and organizational trauma with a special focus on Dr. Snyder’s Compassionate Recovery model of care. Her research and training include trauma, addiction, complex traumatic stress reactions, dissociative disorders, victims of commercial sex trafficking, organizational trauma, secondary traumatic stress, compassion fatigue, and burnout, specifically those who serve traumatized populations both nationally and internationally. She is an Associate Professor at Denver Seminary for the Ph.D. program in Counselor Education & Supervision and also an adjunct professor at Richmont Graduate University in Atlanta, Concordia University in Irvine, California, and the Institute for Sexual Wholeness.

Dr. Snyder earned her Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from Regent University. She holds her Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy with a specialization in Christian Sex Therapy from Richmont Graduate University. She is clinically trained in Eye Movement and Desensitization and Reprocessing (Level 2+), Trauma-Informed Hypnosis (Level 2), Sex Offender Treatment (ITTI), Internal Family Systems (Level 2), Certified Sex Addiction Therapy (Mod 1, 2, 3, & 4), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Attachment, Regulation and Competency (ARC) Framework, Gottman Couples Therapy and Prepare-Enrich. She is currently training in neurofeedback certification, Functional Nutrition & Sleep Recovery, the Revised NICHD Protocol for forensic interviewing, and sex offender treatment (SOTP).
 Dr. Snyder resides in Roswell, Georgia, with her husband Mark, four children, five grandchildren, and two pups.
