Summary

You have gone round and round about the same topics but yet feel completely disconnected from your partner. Finding your way back seems out of reach. Reading books, listening to sermons, or even praying hasn’t worked. It feels like you are doing marriage wrong. You think
I am a Christian, so shouldn’t marriage be less challenging? You care about your partner and do everything you can to fight for your relationship. Yet the cycle you get stuck in is exhausting.
By recognizing patterns in your relationship, we can figure out what is happening and help you learn to communicate more effectively. The goal is that you will each be understood, better understand your partner, and learn to notice where you are stuck. Reconnecting in moments of disconnection can help you find a deeper level of love and begin to trust again. God designed marriage to be a beautiful representation of love and commitment, and experiencing that is possible.
As a licensed marriage and family therapist, fully certified in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT), counseling couples is my passion. Divorce breaks my heart, which fuels my drive to help couples find each other again. Though the name EFCT sounds scary, it is a proven method to help couples get unstuck from the cycle they get caught in. While there are no guarantees, I am passionate about giving you compassionate and excellent care to help you where you need it the most. Marriage is one of the most important relationships next to a relationship with God. Connection is possible!
