Summary

With nearly two decades of experience, Dr. Dickinson specializes in such clinical issues as addictions, crises, leadership development, stress management, trauma, maximizing productivity, and vocational counseling. She works with a variety of clientele of various ages and backgrounds. Frequently her caseload is composed of men, CEOs, Baby Boomers, college students, couples in crisis, and affluent clients looking for a counseling experience tailored to their unique needs. A Certified Daring Way Facilitator, Dr. Dickinson completed the intensive training program with Dr. Brené Brown. The Daring Way is a curriculum designed to explore topics such as vulnerability, courage, shame, and worthiness. Participants are invited to examine thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that are holding them back and identify new choices and practices that will move them toward more authentic and wholehearted living. The primary focus is on developing shame resilience skills and daily practices that transform the way we live, love, parent, and lead.
