Shelley Diefenbach, LLC
Alpharetta, GA
Shelley believes that, at the core, all people desire relationship. Unfortunately, things happen in life that can make it difficult for them to connect with others in healthy ways. In the attempt to avoid pain, people protect themselves in ways that leave them feeling isolated and alone—the exact opposite of what they want. Shelley believes good therapy helps people gain a deeper understanding of themselves and inspires them to grow in ways that make it possible to experience fulfilling relationships and live a happier life. She applies this philosophy in her work with men, women, and families who are affected by addiction. Her desire is to help people discover and resolve the underlying relational issues that keep them dependent on drugs, alcohol, sex, eating, working, and other addictive lifestyles. She is also passionate about helping single women overcome feelings of frustration and loneliness when relationships fail and find joy and fulfillment when life isn't going as planned.
