She completed her Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University in 2018 and her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a concentration in substance abuse from Kaplan University in 2015. Amanda's clinical experience includes working at a treatment facility for substance use disorders and four years in a private practice setting where she provided counseling to adolescents, adults, and couples. While at Auburn, Amber worked with the Alabama Healthy Marriage and Relationship Education Initiative (AHMREI) to provide education to high school students to prevent dating abuse. Amber has become passionate about supporting teens in having healthy peer and dating relationships. Outside of work, Amber enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and their two dogs. She loves exploring the North Georgia mountains, playing ping-pong, trying new activities like pickleball, or just going for a walk at the park. On a Saturday in the fall, you can find her yelling “War Eagle” as she cheers for her beloved Auburn Tigers.
