Dr. Luke has a passion for empowering couples, individuals, and adolescents who desire healing and growth. He strives to provide a safe and compassionate space to promote greater insight, resilience skills, interpersonal effectiveness, and recovery from emotional wounds. Dr. Luke is committed to honoring “the whole person” regardless of their past and present journey. This approach has allowed many people to feel comfortable with him as they explore faith, sexuality, race, or autism. Dr. Luke also has extensive experience helping couples navigate relationship difficulties and helping families or individuals on the autism spectrum. Dr. Luke has gone through rigorous doctoral training in clinical psychology, which included psychological assessments, testing, and scientific research. This experience created a passion for assessing and working with individuals with ADHD, autism, anxiety, and depression. Dr. Luke also holds a master’s degree in theology. He has years of youth ministry experience in a Korean church and with providing therapy to church members, seminary students, and pastors. He has walked alongside people in many different seasons of their spiritual journey and listened with an open heart to stories of people from diverse racial backgrounds. For many years, Dr. Luke provided in-home and in-class therapy to youth on the autism spectrum or with ADHD. He has walked alongside parents and youth as they encounter the day-to-day joys and struggles common for the autistic community. These experiences inform his current therapy, parenting skills, and psychological assessments for autism, ADHD, and beyond. As a marriage counselor, Dr. Luke draws from the emotionally focused therapy and imago relationship therapy approaches. His therapy style equips couples with healthy communication skills, addresses old conflict patterns, and fosters deeper levels of understanding and intimacy. Dr. Luke says, “Whether you are wrestling with relationship conflict, spiritual doubt, have had painful church experiences, or painful racial experiences, I believe your pain and voice matter. I also believe that healing and empowerment are possible, one gentle step at a time. I would be honored to walk alongside you.” Dr. Luke grew up in Texas, enjoying soccer and reading. He went to California to study psychology, theology, and filmmaking. He feels blessed to be married to a wife who shares his love for dogs and the show Survivor.

Kirsten Banks is a Georgia State Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), a nationally Certified Interventionist (CAI and CIP), and a Certified PC Trauma Therapist. She earned her BA and BS degrees in Sociology and a minor in Rehabilitative Services in Women’s Studies from the University of Florida in 1998. In 2005, she earned her Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling from Argosy University. Kirsten has worked in the addiction field for over 20 years and specializes in substance use disorders, mental health, codependency, and trauma, as well as families, couples, and individuals struggling with addiction and mental health issues. She is the founder of Therapeutic Recovery Network and offers counseling, intervention, and consulting services for mental health and substance abuse. Kirsten uses a network approach to facilitate the necessary services for each individual in the family. She has found that this collaborative approach is the most effective. It allows her to assess and develop a tailored plan for individuals and families to find their paths to healing. In addition to her work as a therapist and interventionist, Kirsten has extensive involvement in the local area to help combat the impact of drug addiction on the community. She developed and facilitates a local support group and an online support community called Parent Recovery Network (PRN) for parents and grandparents with loved ones struggling with addiction.

Sha Wortman is an Associate Professional Counselor who has been working in the mental health field since 1994, serving in healthcare and hospice settings as well as elementary and high schools. She earned a Bachelor of Social Work and a Master of Education in School Counseling from Georgia State University. Sha served as a school counselor, working with students, families, and staff for 20 years. She has worked with diverse populations from a variety of backgrounds. Life is challenging! Changes, both good and not so good, can be difficult to navigate. Sha feels blessed to help others explore feelings, identify and utilize strengths, and build skills like improving executive functioning. Her work is deeply rooted in faith, and she understands we all have unique stories and our backgrounds shape how we operate and heal. Sha has been married since 1996 and has four growing and grown sons. She and her husband have been foster and adoptive parents. When not working, Sha can usually be found gathered around a firepit with music and her favorite people.

Hannah Jordan is from Marietta, which she still calls home. She earned a bachelor’s degree in community health at Georgia College and State University and is working toward a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling at Richmont Graduate University. Hannah enjoys working with adolescents, teens, and young adults experiencing concerns such as eating disorders, body-image and self-esteem issues, trauma, life transitions, anxiety, depression, and family issues. She uses a holistic approach in the process of helping clients reach their personalized goals. Hannah is under the supervision of Dr. Nicole Thaxton. Prior to counseling, Hannah worked as a director for a national nonprofit in the Atlanta area. Hannah believes in the importance of wellness in every area of life. Lacadia earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Georgia. She went on to earn a master’s degree in family therapy from Mercer University School of Medicine and a master’s degree in early childhood education from Mercer University. Lacadia enjoyed teaching elementary school students for many years. Through her teaching experience, she was inspired to continue her career in family therapy to serve individuals and families in the process of healing and growth. Lacadia uses integrated theoretical approaches including narrative therapy, play therapy techniques, and emotionally focused therapy to create a safe space for clients to create change. She specializes in working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families and people who are parenting or facing life transitions. Lacadia lives in the Atlanta area with her husband. She is known for creating meaningful relationships and treatment plans with her clients and has worked with children, teens, adults, and families in private practice since 2016. Dr. Nicole understands “high-achieving” individuals and families and the unique challenges they face related to anxiety, stress, pressure, perfectionism, grief and loss, divorce, relationship issues, and trauma.
