Kelli is a licensed marriage and family therapist and pro-neurodiversity professional with more than 10 years of counseling experience. She can quickly help identify and support your brain's unique wiring, allowing you to have better insight into how God created you and your personality. Kelli seeks to maximize your strengths. Mary Teresa ("Terry") is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) with a Master of Science. She is also a certified provider credentialing specialist (CPCS), a master addiction counselor (MAC), and a certified professional counselor supervisor with LPCA of Georgia. Terry currently practices at Freeman Counseling and Consulting. She has over 31 years of postgraduate experience with residential domestic violence and addiction recovery, inpatient and intensive outpatient psychiatric and addiction treatment, and residential treatment for human trafficking victims. She has been in private practice for 12 years. Terry is gifted in working with children and adolescents as well as with people of all ages and life stages.

Brad cares deeply for those who are in distress. Whether a client is experiencing anxiety, stress, uncertainty, depression, grief, relational conflict—or something just feels "off," Brad offers a supportive environment for clients to explore and name the root causes of their experience. Brad also equips clients with the skills, tools, and resources necessary to feel a sense of relief and find a better way forward. As a former lawyer and educator, Brad brings a unique perspective to counseling and is able to connect with a wide range of clients, including those who remain somewhat skeptical of the benefits of counseling.  

Cheryl is a licensed professional counselor and clinical hypnotherapist who has been in private practice for over 25 years. Her goal is to help her clients become their best self, the way God intended. She believes the intimate connection created in a therapy relationship is an ideal place to problem-solve, try new behaviors, change negative beliefs, let go of unhealthy patterns and habits, grieve past losses and heal unresolved trauma. With experience in several counseling approaches, Cheryl has many therapy tools in her "toolbox" she has perfected over the years, and experienced herself in her own healing work. Her specialties include anxiety disorders/ panic disorders, post-traumatic stress, (PTSD), relational issues, childhood trauma, grief and adoptive parenting. In addition, Cheryl also offers womens' groups for those who wish to deepen their connections with, and get support from, other women. As a mother of an adopted teenager, she brings a unique perspective to parenting. When a client enters her office, they enter a "non-judgmental zone" where they can be free to be themselves. Barbara believes that each person's spiritual, emotional, and physical qualities connect in such a way that a problem in one area affects the others. She spends the time to find the strengths the client already possesses, and then helps the client begin to facilitate their own change. Barbara has a strong desire to help couples in the hard times of their relationship and is a trained PREPARE/ENRICH facilitator. She also desires to help individuals with the challenges of life, including those facing grief, anxiety, or depression. Barbara has experience in the frustration and seeming hopelessness of a family dealing with a loved one in addiction. She knows the importance of getting help, not only for the addicted person, but for the family members as well. Barbara also has experience counseling wives, husbands, or couples walking through the challenges and pain of sex or porn addiction. Barbara has a master's degree in marriage and family therapy with a specialization in addiction from Richmont Graduate University. She works in the counseling ministry at Johnson Ferry Baptist Church during the day and sees private clients at her Woodstock office three evenings a week.

Jen works with adults, couples, teens, and pre-teens, providing counseling for those experiencing anxiety, depression, psychosis, or substance abuse. She also works with people who are struggling to cope with a difficult life experience such as a chronic health issue, recent loss, relationship or school problem, or other life transition. With over 12 years of counseling experience, Jen believes that radical change is possible through effective therapy. She has experience with a variety of treatment modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), mindfulness, motivational interviewing, harm reduction, psychodynamic, and solution-focused brief treatment. She keeps up-to-date with the latest evidence-based research and practices in the field and uses a strengths-based approach to therapy. It can be hard to take the first step in deciding to pursue therapy, but Jen believes that feeling understood and supported by your therapist will allow you to develop the courage and skills to grow and change. She offers a free, brief phone consultation for all clients and has evening hours available, if needed.

Jim brings a rich blend of life and professional experience to his practice to enhance his ability to walk alongside people facing difficult challenges. Jim particularly has a heart for couples that lack the deep connection they long for. He has completed training and has experience in Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples (EFT), which is an approach to couple counseling that has been proven to help couples deepen the bond between them. Furthermore, Jim has experience working with couples whose relationships have been injured by infidelity or betrayal. As a PREPARE/ENRICH facilitator, he enjoys working with premarital couples that desire an enriching experience as they prepare for life together. In addition to working with couples, Jim has extensive experience working with individuals, both adults and adolescents, who find themselves distressed or impaired because of anxiety, depression, grief, or traumatic events. He has training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a highly effective therapy to help people impacted by trauma in their lives.

Kim is a licensed professional counselor who attended Oral Roberts University and earned her undergraduate degree in Christian care and counseling and then earned her master’s degree at Richmont University in professional counseling. Kim practices at her private practice, Damascus Road Counseling, in Canton, GA. She works with adults on a broad range of mood and anxiety disorders and specializes in the treatment of bipolar disorder. Kim's long history working as a pastoral counselor prior to becoming a professional counselor has equipped her to offer Christian counseling as well.

Ryan is the executive director at Lifegate Group where there is a committed staff of nine qualified and state-licensed clinicians. All clinicians are equipped to create a highly confidential, professional yet very comfortable environment to best facilitate your journey toward healthy change. Mary Beth believes that the decision to pursue self-care in the midst of pain is one of the kindest decisions a person can make for themselves. Her hope is to provide a place of honesty where clients can pursue wholeness and restoration and to guide her clients through their story to uncover the beauty that has been hidden. Mary Beth grew up in St. Simons Island, GA, and has lived in the Atlanta area since 2006. She studied business management at the University of Georgia and began a career in business before shifting her focus to counseling eight years ago. Her practice has been primarily in church settings and non-profits. Mary Beth loves adventure and spending time outdoors. She enjoys snow skiing, kayaking, biking, and hiking with her golden retriever, Annie.
