Alpharetta, GA

Brokenness and disillusionment in marriage saddens me because I know there is a better way. As a counselor trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Gottman Couples Therapy, my passion is to assist in building extraordinary connection between partners who have lost their way to each other's hearts. My practice is all about relationships. In addition to counseling married couples, I help singles understand the importance of discovering and bringing their authentic selves to relationships and the divorced rediscover their voices and significance in the midst of their grief. I also help prepare premarital couples for the uncharted but rewarding journey of marriage. Relationship starts with authentically sharing one's inner world with another person. I seek to come alongside my clients to tackle relational hindrances, such as difficulty truly knowing and accepting one’s self, communication-skill deficits, and distrust related to past traumatic events. I see exploring emotions—past and present—as foundational for growth in individuals as well as couples. My view of the correlation of Biblical truths and sound psychological and communication principles provides an opportunity for progress in life on many levels.

Jennifer Keith, Psy.D., P.C.

Atlanta, GA

Your mind races with thoughts that begin with What if? Your anxiety gets in the way of your relationships, steals your joy, and limits your potential for happiness at home and at work. Worrying about things you cannot control has become a habit, which is hard to break because you believe that the worry prevents the thing from happening. You worry about your relationships, your family, your kids, and your work. Worry turns to guilt about not doing enough and not being enough. You long to quiet the inner critic, let go of the anxiety, feel like you are enough, and live a more fully engaged and balanced life. Through our collaborative efforts, you will learn the skills you need to conquer your worries and unwanted negative, anxious thoughts, communicate your needs effectively, and overcome feelings of guilt and self-doubt. We will work together to help you enjoy your life and relationships again, live fully in the present, and look forward to your future. As a licensed psychologist for over 15 years, I utilize research-supported interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Using a positive psychology approach, we will identify your strengths and uncover ones you may not even recognize. When nurtured and channeled in the best way, these strengths will help you cope with the past, conquer current fears, and overcome future obstacles on your path. My job is to give you the tools you need to be your own therapist. I am also trained in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), which is considered a best practice in the treatment of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD).

Erin Holcomb

Path for Peace

Woodstock, GA

Erin is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC); a National Certified Counselor (NCC); and a Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor (CPCS). She earned a master’s degree in community counseling from the University of North Georgia and a bachelor’s degree in early childhood and special education from the University of North Georgia.  Erin has dedicated her career to helping children and adolescents overcome hardships, regardless of the severity of the issue. While working in the school system, she helped elementary-aged children meet their academic goals. Later she helped adolescents and their families achieve stability while working as the Assistant Director of Cottage A/Youth Services for both the inpatient and partial programs at Ridgeview Institute. Erin enjoys working with individuals, groups, and families. She has experience working with clients in crisis and with mood disorders including anxiety, depression, and anger. She also enjoys working with families in conflict, clients with behavioral difficulties, and resistant clients.  She uses Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) techniques to help children and adolescents learn healthy coping skills. Erin has extensive training in DBT, which can be greatly beneficial for adolescents. The technique can help with issues, including but not limited to suicidal thoughts, self-harming behaviors, anger or explosive emotional outbursts, isolation, anxiety, panic attacks, and disordered eating. DBT can also help adolescents more effectively communicate with their parents, handle difficult situations, and understand and navigate their emotions.   Erin believes that behaviors are meaningful rather than random. Often when children act out, they are trying to get a need met or communicate with someone. Understanding the cause of behavior can help bring positive and lasting change. Erin believes that the use of art therapy allows children and adolescents to communicate in a natural manner so that the cause of behavior can be understood. She also feels that using creative expressive therapies can help bring positive change into children’s lives.
