Summary

Angie offers a nonjudgmental space for clients to share life’s struggles and victories. She has experience working with adolescents and adults experiencing relational and emotional issues, codependency and boundary challenges, anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma. Angie also journeys with those experiencing challenges with parenting, divorce, blended families, identity, and communication. Angie can provide faith-based counseling to those who seek it.
Using a client-centered approach, Angie has specific training in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy; holds certifications in critical incident stress management, the Flash Technique, and ACT; and is fully trained in EMDR. In addition, Angie holds the designation of being informed in Internal Family Systems (IFS).
Angie is a Licensed Professional Counselor who earned a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. She regularly attends trainings to continue learning in order to help clients more effectively and she enjoys consultation with peers to gain additional insights.
 In her free time, Angie enjoys exploring beach towns with her husband, spending time with her kids, or reading a good book with doggy, Mocha.
