Summary

Brokenness and disillusionment in marriage saddens me because I know there is a better way. As a counselor trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Gottman Couples Therapy, my passion is to assist in building extraordinary connection between partners who have lost their way to each other's hearts. My practice is all about relationships. In addition to counseling married couples, I help singles understand the importance of discovering and bringing their authentic selves to relationships and the divorced rediscover their voices and significance in the midst of their grief. I also help prepare premarital couples for the uncharted but rewarding journey of marriage.
Relationship starts with authentically sharing one's inner world with another person. I seek to come alongside my clients to tackle relational hindrances, such as difficulty truly knowing and accepting one’s self, communication-skill deficits, and distrust related to past traumatic events.
I see exploring emotions—past and present—as foundational for growth in individuals as well as couples. My view of the correlation of Biblical truths and sound psychological and communication principles provides an opportunity for progress in life on many levels.
