Mariah D. (Dantzler) McFetridge, M.S., graduated from Mercer University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is an LAPC and NCC. Mariah's goal as a counselor is to provide a space where clients can be fully themselves and be celebrated for who they are while being motivated to learn and grow. Mariah practices counseling from a client-centered approach, taking note that each client's journey is their own. Mariah also incorporates mindfulness-based techniques as well as creative play in sessions. Her promise is to allow clients and their families to feel valued and heard while motivating them to become the best versions of themselves! She is dedicated to celebrating clients' individualities and allowing clients the space to explore their stories and gain confidence, awareness, and self-acceptance.
 Mariah has previously interned at a private practice where she worked with children and adolescents addressing issues relating but not limited to: anxiety, depression, social skills, sensory processing, LGBTQ, self-esteem, divorce, trauma, grief, terminal illness, self-injury, ADHD, mood disorders, eating disorders, and attachment disorders.
