Katie earned her bachelors degree at Davidson College with a double major in Sociology and Religion. With a growing desire to support others in pursuit of healing and wholeness, she went on to obtain a Masters in Professional Counseling from Richmont Graduate University. Now as a licensed therapist, Katie is privileged to journey with clients towards greater health and wellness. Katie provides a safe and nurturing environment to help people navigate difficult life seasons and circumstances. She believes that intentionally attending to ourselves and our lives gives us the opportunity to address past pain, engage the present, and gain vision for the future. Katie works with adults and adolescents with a variety of presenting concerns. Some areas of professional interest include depression, anxiety, relationship issues, identity development in older adolescents and young adults, postpartum support, addressing shame, life transitions, difficult family dynamics, and issues of faith and spirituality. Katie also offers couples counseling and periodic group therapy. Additionally, Katie is a former collegiate athlete and coach, and enjoys integrating her past experience by working therapeutically with athletes, coaches, and teams. Katie is an Atlanta native. She lives with her husband and three young children. She enjoys adventuring with her family, spending time with friends, sampling local coffee, writing, and being outdoors (especially in the fall).

Nathan is a pastoral counselor, spiritual director, and the founder of Soul Care Christian Counseling in Atlanta, GA. He began his graduate studies under Dr. Dan Allender at Mars Hill Graduate School in Seattle and then transferred to the Institute for Spiritual Formation (ISF) in Los Angeles. The ISF is an interdisciplinary program of Talbot School of Theology and Rosemead School of Psychology where he earned a master’s degree in spiritual formation and soul care. He is also a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors. Nathan speaks Spanish fluently after having spent 16 years in Mexico and the Dominican Republic. He has ministered to United States missionaries and national pastors in a number of Latin American countries since then. Nathan specializes in marriage counseling: working with Christian couples or individuals struggling with significant strife or separation, dealing with betrayal, sexual addiction, or facing divorce. In addition, he specializes in the area of sexual brokenness: working with Christian men fighting against the control of pornography, sexual addiction, and unwanted same-sex desires. Nathan also counsels in a number of other areas of struggle, as well.
