Theresa received her Master of Science from Mercer University's Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program. She has received specialized training in trauma treatment including the use of brain spotting and progressive counting, which are therapeutic techniques designed to help children and adults deal with traumatic experiences and gain insight. In addition, she has received training in collaborative and proactive solutions (CPS). CPS is a model used to work with children and adolescents experiencing behavioral challenges and/or explosive outbursts. Family communication is strengthened and improved through this model. Theresa provides individual and family therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. She is passionate about working in the areas of trauma, loss, social skills, communication difficulties, executive functioning, behavioral challenges, addictions, and anxiety.

Marian has counseled individuals, couples, and families in different settings with a variety of concerns since she entered the field in 1980. Both her professional and personal life experiences over these years have added depth of experience, insight, and compassion to her counseling. Through years of experience, Marian has realized that building a strong and safe relationship with clients is the foundation for hope and change. She states that counseling is about finding a trusted relationship with a therapist who can walk with you through the emotional concerns, traumas, and relationships that cause you pain and overwhelm you in order to find healing and resolution. Marian creates safety for individuals as they address a variety of issues such as anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma as well as relationship distress. As an emotionally focused therapist (EFT) and a couple’s therapist, Marian applies her experience and training to individuals as well as couples. She is also a certified parenting coach. The goal of parent coaching is to assist parents in navigating emotional and behavioral concerns while establishing a solid sense of what to do and how to create a healthy family life.

Tracy is a licensed professional counselor who specializes in helping adult and adolescent females overcome depression, anxiety, rejection, grief, relational/marital difficulties, spiritual issues, difficulty in setting boundaries, burnout, identifying lies and replacing them with God's truth, and more. Tracy began counseling in 2000 after first studying at Richmont University and then graduating from Argosy University with a master's degree in professional counseling. Tracy did her internship at Ridgeview Institute and was asked to oversee the inpatient and outpatient program for New Life Clinics. She later joined AlphaCare and in 2010 started her own private practice in the Smyrna area. Tracy continues to witness tremendous results with her clients as she invites the Holy Spirit into each session. Tracy was appointed by Governor Sonny Perdue to serve on the Georgia Board of Professional Counselors, Social Workers, and Marriage and Family Therapists with the task of evaluating ethical standards and approving the licensure of counselors in the state of Georgia. Tracy is also an author, conference speaker, and frequent radio and podcast guest.

I have a passion for working with children (ages 6+), adolescents and adults navigating challenges such as addiction, anxiety, stress and relationship or family conflict. I enjoy working directly with parents to set goals and better understand their teen's challenges as well as with couples who want the most from their marriage. I am specializing and continuing my training in bipolar/mood disorders, addictions, couple's therapy, and human sexuality. I became a therapist because I knew from a young age that I wanted to help other people. My own history, family, and journey influence me as a therapist. This makes me real. One does not get to the therapy chair without experiences and struggles in life. I have found that hope and grace have anchored me and this is what I seek for my clients. Dr. McKinney is a licensed psychologist working in the Atlanta area. She believes that psychological assessment can be the cornerstone of the therapeutic process. She conducts assessments on children, adolescents, and adults to help determine functioning and to drive treatment planning. Dr. McKinney is experienced in assessing disorders of attention-deficit/hyperactivity, behavioral and emotional functioning, cognitive or academic abilities (including learning disabilities), autism-spectrum, trauma impacts, and personality. Her experience in these areas offers her clients a comprehensive evaluation with extensive recommendations for how to manage any diagnoses discovered throughout the evaluation process.

Daniel is a licensed marriage and family therapist who received his master’s degree from Richmont Graduate University in Atlanta. Daniel has a collaborative style; he meets his clients where they’re at and lets them walk at their own pace. It is understood that the things discussed in session are of immense importance to his clients, and Daniel holds that with the highest regard. Daniel's goal in life was always to help people, but his journey took a global path (literally) for over a decade. Prior to graduate school, he was an undergraduate student at Mississippi State University, where he spent most of his time getting to know students from all over the world. He spent over four years living outside of the United States. Daniel has learned over the years what his wife knew all along: that he can relate to a lot of people. Daniel believes that building a strong relationship with each client is one of the most important contributors to successful therapy. His ultimate desire for his clients is that they become more self-aware while achieving their goals.

Beverly, a native of Atlanta, has been serving Metro Atlanta as a professional counselor since 2003. She is a licensed professional counselor, registered play therapist, national certified counselor, and AACC's BCPCC. Her favorite populations are children, parents, and couples. With children the issues she works with most commonly are anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), divorce recovery, grief, ADHD, adoption issues, and oppositional issues. With adults she has been trained in emotionally focused therapy and the PREPARE/ENRICH method.

Simone Cox is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia. She is a Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor (CPCS), Approved American Association for Marriage and Therapy Supervisor, and Board Certified Telemental Health provider. She is passionate about serving others. Simone seeks to journey with you as you discover increased self-awareness, personal growth and self-acceptance. Ellen is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) and founder of Relate Counseling. Ellen favors emotionally focused therapy, the Gottman Method, and the Enneagram, which are all research-based and/or spiritual approaches that have been proven to help couples and individuals.

Emily earned her Masters of Arts from Dallas Theological Seminary in Counseling in Dallas, Texas and her PhD in Christian Counseling from International University. These programs provided a theological and psychological integration model as many people’s understanding of God/higher power impacts how they makes sense of challenges and learn to cope during times of difficulty. She uses her past personal and professional experience to help female clients struggling with anxiety disorders.
