Nicole is a Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in working with people facing anxiety of all kinds, mood disorders, perfectionism, rumination, spiritual concerns, and life transitions. Nicole also has experience supporting individuals or families impacted by substance misuse, divorce, grief and loss, aging, work stress, and obsessive-compulsive behaviors. Nicole is honored to empower clients to reclaim a sense of worthiness, self-compassion, and peace. Nicole works with adult women of all ages.
Nicole earned a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy from Richmont Graduate University. Nicole has worked at Skyland Trail in Atlanta since 2018, where she most recently served as assistant director of the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Recovery Track. In this role, Nicole worked with individual patients, led daily group therapy, supported families in crisis, and provided supervision to interns and other therapists. Nicole has worked with individuals with presenting concerns including grief, bipolar disorder, panic disorder, substance use disorders, disordered eating, codependency, people-pleasing, PTSD, OCD, ADHD, and on the autism spectrum. Through her role at Skyland Trail, Nicole received training or gained experience with Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD, Rumination-Focused ERP, etc.
Nicole was inspired by her foundational training for depression and suicide from the Beck Institute, and she’s passionate about helping clients build insight around which narratives and behaviors are no longer working for them. Through creating a safe and respectful space, Nicole hopes to encourage clients to clarify their values, explore their identity, and use their voice to cultivate a life of meaning, connection, and joy.
Nicole loves calling Atlanta home. When she is not being a therapist, she enjoys hiking, cooking, reading, and cuddling with her cat, Lady.
